Dial M For Murder (1954)

Watched it today after long wanting to. Cold, brilliant and even, heart-wrenching. The brilliance is not just in the plot but also in the clarity of the story-telling. The story of the perfect murder – well, almost. Grace Kelly – Ah! The beauty! Sweeter than she was in Rear Window (1954), with an even meatier role, as damsel in distress. Worth a lot of repeat watches.

Also watched a repeat of The Lady Vanishes (1938) yesterday, another of my favorites. Remains cool as ever!
